The 37th Annual Pollock Men’s Club Walleye Tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21. River conditions are great, and fishing in the Pollock area has been very good.
The two-man teams will be divided into two flights, with one flight leaving at 7 a.m. Saturday morning, and the other one at 7:30 a.m. They will return at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., respectively. The two flights will be alternated on Sunday, but the departure and return times are the same.
Weigh-in will be held at the Pollock Fire Hall. Trophies will be presented to the top five overall teams.
The fishermen will be asked to donate their Saturday catch to be used for a fish fry that evening. In addition to the fresh walleye, there will be potato salad, baked beans, chips and beverages. Cost for the meal is $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
